Continuing Education Information                                                                 

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® accredits the MS Association of Nurse Practitioners as an approved provider of nurse practitioner continuing education through 09/30/2028. Provider number:1640685. Activities are planned in accordance with AANP Accreditation Standards and Policies.  AANP credit is accepted by all Boards of Nursing for for Nurse Practitioner licensure renewals and certification bodies for recertification. Other professions must check with their licensing/certifying body to determine whether or not they accept AANP credits.

MANP is approved by CE Broker to provide continuing education through 10/31/2026. MANP has been approved to provide continuing education through the CE Broker portal for the following:

• Mississippi Board of Nursing
• Arkansas Board of Nursing
• Florida Board of Nursing

 All speaking opportunities are voluntary, and travel or overnight accommodations are at the speaker's expense. The registration fee is waived; however, our organization can only provide continuing education credits for nurse practitioners attending the sessions. Presenters who would like a letter of affirmation confirming their presenter participation and presentation content may request one by emailing [email protected].

Cancellation Policy: A cancellation charge of $50.00 will be applied to refund requests in writing prior to course deadline of 08/12/2026. NO REFUNDS will be granted after the cancellation deadline (08/12/2026). The cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Join & Go annual membership ($300) is non-refundable.

MANP can only award continuing education credit to Nurse Practitioners. Other disciplines will receive a certificate of completion but are not awarded CE credit. The individual may apply to their certification board for CE credit approval.

We are delighted to have this phenomenal skills workshop. You can register for one or both courses.  The Joint Injection course will be from 8:30am-11:30am and the Suture Course will be from 12:30pm-3:30pm. For those registering for both courses, we will break from 11:30am-12:30pm for lunch on your own. 

COURSE INFORMATION

8:30am-11:30am:Dr. Trevor Pickering, MD, with MS Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center will present the lecture portion of the Joint Injection Course. You will have an opportunity for hands-on training and practice time using our simulation models.

 12:30pm-3:30pm:Dr. Robert Ware, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, will present the lecture portion of the Suture Course. As a part of this course, each registrant will receive a personal training suture kit, a variety of sutures, and synthetic skin models to train and practice your skill. These kits are yours to take home following the course.

For conference registration cancellation, you must contact MANP in writing at [email protected] to request cancellation. Cancellations between Aug 1-Sept 19, 2026, will result in a $50 administrative charge. Refund requests will NOT be honored after September 20, 2026. NO SHOWS on the day of the event will not be refunded.
