Kent is a Board Director for MS Association of Nurse Practitioners (MANP) and is a family nurse practitioner at Highland Hills Medical Center in Senatobia, MS. James started his medical career as a combat medic at the age of 19 and now 20 years later, serves as a rural health nurse practitioner at the Field Health Systems. James is also MANP Area 10 Leader for MANP and networks with Pharma representatives to host educational programs in southwest MS.
Christy Davis, DNP, FNP-C, CSOWM, CBN Receives 2023 AANP NP State Award for Excellence in MS -The AANP State Award for Excellence was established in 1993 and is given to an NP in each state who demonstrates excellence in clinical care. Awards are distributed to the recipients throughout the year, with recipients honored during the annual AANP national conference. Join MS Association of Nurse Practitioners in congratulating Christy Davis from Brandon who works with Metabolic Medicine of Mississippi and is a very active MANP member for being the recipient of the 2023 AANP State Award for Excellence, NP in Practice! Christy is very passionate about the care she provides to her patients. Each year, advocates across the nation are nominated by AANP members to receive this prestigious award. Dr. Highfill is the Executive Director for the MS Association of Nurse Practitioners. The AANP State Award for Excellence was established in 1993 and is given to individuals who have made a significant contribution toward increasing the awareness and recognition of NPs. Awards are distributed to the recipients throughout the year, with recipients honored during the annual AANP national conference. AANP is the largest professional association for NPs of all specialties, with more than 121,000 members and headquarters in Texas and Washington, D.C.
Mary Williams, DNP, FNP, BCDr. Mary Williams received recognition and commendation of the Mississippi Senate by Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann, Jr and Senator Robert Jackson on 01/20/2022. Dr. Williams, a MANP member, is a respected NP and owner of Urgent & Primary Care of Clarksdale established in 2018. She has over three decades of nursing experience.
