We are delighted to have this phenomenal skills workshop. You can register for one or both.  

Dr. Trevor Pickering with MS Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center will present the lecture portion of the Joint Injection Course. You will have an opportunity for hands-on training and practice time using our simulation models.

Dr. Robert Ware, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, will present the lecture portion of the Suture Course. As a part of this course, each registrant will receive a personal training suture kit, a variety of sutures, and synthetic skin models to train and practice your skill. These kits are yours to take home following the course.

Joint Injection Course arrival time 8:00am. Suture Course arrival time 1:00pm.  For those registering for both courses, we will break from 11:30am-12:45pm for lunch on your own.

MANP is accredited by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® as an approved provider of nurse practitioner continuing education.  Provider number: 1640685.  Each activity has applied for 3 contact hours of which 0.25 of the 3 total contact hours are designated as pharmacology. These activities were planned in accordance with AANP Accreditation Standards and Policies. 

Member Rate: $175 each course

Non-Member Rate: $225 each course

CANCELLATION POLICY: For conference registration cancellation, you must contact MANP in writing at [email protected] to request cancellation and refund no later than March 1, 2025.

BEFORE MARCH 1, 2025, Cancellation will result in a  full refund.

Cancellations between March 1 - March 15 will result in a $50 cancellation charge.

Annual and Monthly Membership rates are available on the website at MEMBERSHIP
Monthly payments are $25.00 monthly for the 12-month term. Early cancellations will be responsible for the balance of the term in full at the time of cancellation. Annual rate is $300. We have continued our same low rates since 2014.

Membership Meeting & Awards Presentation
Our membership meeting and awards presentation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the Grand Ballroom.

Hotel Information
Hotel room blocks are available. Discount code and booking link information will be provided AFTER registration in the confirmation email sent to the registrant. Room block availability is limited so we encourage you to register and book rooms early. The average room block costs for the Lodge at Gulf State Park property range from $255-$305 per night plus taxes. ROOM BLOCK POLICY
The Lodge at Gulf State Park carries a 28-day cancellation policy. Any changes or cancellations to any reservation less than 28 days in advance of arrival will incur a one-night room and tax penalty. Deadline for changes will be June 11, 2025.

MANP NP Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to the MS Association of Nurse Practitioners BEFORE June 15, 2025, emailed to [email protected] or via regular mail at 1888 Main St., Suite C312, Madison, MS 39110. All cancellations received before June 15, 2025, will receive a refund minus a $50 administrative cancellation charge. No refunds will be honored after June 15, 2025.
